Fees & Rebates
There are a number of ways you can see a psychologist at Nurtured Mums Psychology.
On a Mental Health Treatment Plan
Your GP or Psychiatrist can provide you with a referral under the Medicare Better Access programme, which gives you a rebate of $141.85 per session for up to 10 sessions per year. If you are between 0 and 12 weeks postpartum, you may be eligible for our concession rate. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your eligibility.
Using Your Private Health Cover
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to make a claim for psychological therapy sessions. Your insurance provider will be able to let you know if this is included in your cover.
As a Private Fee-Paying Client
When you book an appointment as a private client, you will pay the full fee for each session.
The fee for a 50 minute In-Clinic or Telehealth Consultation is $210.
The fee for a 50 minute Home-Visit is $230.

Are You in Your Fourth Trimester?
The first 3 months postpartum, also known as the fourth trimester, is a significant time of transition and change. Getting support during this period will help you navigate and adjust to this new season of life. We hope that concession fees to minimise the barrier of cost during this period means you are more able to access support when you might need it most!
Face-to-Face & Telehealth

The above are Fourth Trimester Fees if you have been referred on a Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan.

Organizing and accessing support during this time can also be challenging, so we offer bulk-billing or reduced fees for mums in their fourth trimester, if you have been referred on a Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan.
If you are on a Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan, all telehealth and in-clinic appointments will be bulk-billed if you are in your fourth trimester, so there are no out of pocket costs to you. Home visits are offered at a reduced rate of $200 per session ($46 Out of Pocket after Medicare Rebate).
